REGISTRATION PROCESS
Step 1
The participant may choose to:
Register online or
Register by accomplishing the downloadable Participant Registration Form and sending the completed form via email to pc@sja.gos.pk or through postal service at Judges Bungalows 1 & 2, Ferozenana Road,clifton Bath Island, Karachi.

Step 2
The SJA Registration Secretariat will send a confirmation of receipt of registration through the participant’s registered email address.

Step 3
The participant who successfully registered may check their emails for the confirmation of registration.
PLEASE NOTE that the name of registrants will be included in the Official List of Participants upon confirmation of payment of registration fees.

REGISTRATION CLOSURE
The SJA Program Committee reserves the right to close the registration upon reaching the maximum number of participants that the conference venue can accommodate.The committe may decline registration of request of a participant without assigning reason.

SUBSTITUTION/CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of substitution of participants or cancellation of registration, the original registrant shall inform the SJA Organizing Committee through:

Registration fees will be refunded, less 10% processing fee for notice of cancellation received on or before October 1, 2017.
Registration fees will not be refunded for notice of cancellation received after October 1, 2017. However, an alternate attendee may substitute the original registrant for no additional fee but must also accomplish his/her own registration form.

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION
During registration at the Conference venue, the participant is required to present a valid CNIC to verify his/her identity.

PERMISSION TO PHOTOGRAPH
By registering for this Conference, the participant agrees to be photographed during the educational sessions and social activities and allows the use of such photographs for any legitimate conference-related purpose.

STATEMENT OF LIABILITY WAIVER
The SJA Program Committee and all other entities, or “Hosts”, for brevity, participating in planning and conducting the Third Provincial Judicial Conference are not liable for the acts of any outside entities related to this event.
The Hosts are not liable or responsible for the safety of any delegate attending the conference, traveling to or from the conference, or participating in any conference related activities.
The Hosts are not responsible or liable for delays or failure to perform due to acts of God or any events outside of the Hosts’ contract.
The Hosts reserve the right to cancel this function without penalty other than a refund or direct costs paid to the Hosts for services not provided.
Each participant shall be personally responsible for his/her behavior. The Hosts will not accept responsibility for the behavior of any participant or outside entity during this event.
The participants agree to waive any and all liability on the part of the Hosts for any adverse consequences resulting from incidents arising in connection with this event.

CONFERENCE INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Conference will be held on January 13, 2018 in Karachi.
English is the official language of the Conference. The plenary session and all concurrent sessions will be held in the main hall during the course of the day.

CONFERENCE POLICIES AND HOUSE RULES
All participants must wear their name badge at all times throughout the Conference for access to all Conference educational programs, meals and social events. If you lose or misplace your name badge during the conference, the replacement fee will be Rs.200/-.
All participants must sign the attendance roll before each Plenary session and chosen concurrent session throughout the Conference.
All participants must be seated in the plenary/session hall five (5) minutes before each session starts.
Presenters of papers and lectures should bring PowerPoint /Presentations to the Conference on a USB memory stick or similar device. There will be a computer-compatible projection equipment in each session room. Technical persons will be available throughout the Conference to assist all speakers with their presentations.
Cell phones and other electronic gadgets must be put on silent mode during the Conference.

Conference papers can be submitted until October 1, 2017 via email at pc@sja.gos.pk.
Submitted papers must have affinity with the overall theme and sub-themes of the Conference

EVALUATION OF THE WORK
All papers submitted to the Conference will be evaluated by representatives of the SJA Program Conference Committee.
The list of approved Conference papers will be published with further information on presentation rules.
