Muhammad Iqbal Kalhoro, son of Qamardin-a-Kalhoro Advocate, was born on 19th July 1968 and holds domicile of District Dadu. He resides at House No. 28, New Mehran Town, Near Happy Homes, Qasimabad, Hyderabad. He completed his M.A. and L.L.B. from Sindh Law College, Hyderabad in 1993. He enrolled as an Advocate of the Subordinate Courts on 27th March 1995, as an Advocate of the High Court on 8th December 1997, and as an Advocate of the Supreme Court on 4th April 2009. He has diverse experience in both civil and criminal law. Early in his career, he was appointed as Civil Judge & Judicial Magistrate in October 1998, a position he held until March 2001. He then served as Retainer-Special Prosecutor for the ANF Hyderabad Division from May 2001 to February 2008. In March 2008, he was appointed as Additional Prosecutor General Sindh and served as In-Charge Prosecutor General Sindh from 14th March 2008 to 12th May 2008 and again from 7th November 2013 to 9th January 2014. He also contributed to legal education as an Honorary Lecturer at Sindh Law College, Hyderabad until 29th May 2014. He has practiced extensively in Hyderabad, representing clients in both civil and criminal matters, and has been an active member of the District Bar Association and the High Court Bar Association, Hyderabad. His judicial career was elevated to the Bench on 30th May 2014, reflecting his dedication and expertise in the field of law.
